I wish Apple hadn't given up on Digital Touch so quickly. It was such a great and cool Apple Watch feature that they killed off before the Apple Watch had a chance to become popular.

Before people start saying anything, yes I know it is an iMessage app now, but it's an awful experience that completely defeats the purpose of the original feature. I do not consider it to be the same at all.

I agree but I tried using Digital Touch with friends over the years and 90% of them thought it was weird :(

I’ve long held that the gen zero Apple Watch was so underpowered that it killed a bunch of features that people would’ve used if they were actually usable

I never had performance issues with Digital Touch

I wish they haven’t given up on Force Touch on the Apple Watch either. It added a more immersive dimension to the Watch

Yeah, it was such a genius way to add more controls to the small screen… I really don’t understand at all why they got rid of it
