I wish Barcelona fans would just move on and stop micro-analysing everything about Julián Álvarez. “He looks unhappy.” “The fans are booing him.” “They’re stupid for rejecting €150m they could’ve used to strengthen the squad.” You guys sound butthurt. Atlético made a statement, stood by it, and honestly, they...

I don't understand why they are the ones posting about Atlético Madrid player now. We claim they are not our rivals and we are bigger than them which is the truth, so why are we still bringing ourselves down by talking about them? Just move on

They would have had my respect if they had decided not to sell him at all and had stuck to that, but their stance was that he could go wherever he wanted—except to Barcelona.

You're literally drooling over the idea of Haaland to Barcelona. When Haaland isn't worth his price, but Julian is. —— Haaland ⋮ Alvarez —— Fee: ~300m ⋮ ~150m Wage: 32m ⋮ 12m Bonus: ~18m ⋮ 3m Please be very serious.

He looks unhappy. He will join Barca sooner or later. You can't keep a player who doesn't want to play for your club for a long time

most Barca supporters are too stupid to understand the point. The point for Atleti was never Julian will become happy & be a great player again or we'll make more $ for him later. It was a message to all future players & Barca... those transfer tactics wont work with us anymore.

Yes exactly Julian is Atletico’s property how dare he have freewill, dreams or aspirations… and barca? The club that wanted to make a transaction worth 150M with another club cuz that s how economical systems including football eventually thrive? Yeah total asswholes

Some fans may be overdoing it, but the moral policing is unnecessary 😂 This is football. Fans will banter, analyse Julián’s performances, boos, body language, especially after how publicly Atlético handled the saga.

I’m glad we didn’t waste €150 million on him tbh. We need to spend that on the back line. We don’t need Alvarez to score goals, goal scoring has never been an issue under Flick. The backline is our weak link.

🚨Pep Guardiola on Julian Alvarez situation concerning Barcelona, Arsenal, Simeone and Atletico Madrid president, Gil Marin: 🎙️Reporter: Pep, Álvarez wants Barcelona, but Atlético prefer Arsenal. You let him leave City when he was contracted — do you see the hypocrisy in Simeone’s handling of this? 🗣️Pep: Yes. And I will not pretend I don’t. When Julián was at City he had a contract until 2028. A real contract. Diego wanted him. Fine. Every coach wants good players. But what did he do? He called Julián five times during the negotiation. Five. His son Giuliano was messaging him. De Paul. Molina. The whole Argentine family inside Atlético selling him the same line: ‘Come here, you will be the main man, not second behind Erling.’ That is tapping. That is convincing a player who is under contract to walk away from the club that paid him, trained him, and won everything with him. And what did I do? I did not go on television to cry. I did not send my players to WhatsApp him at midnight. I did not tell the world that City would rather sell him to anyone except the club he actually wanted. I sat with him. He said he wanted a new challenge. I said: okay. If a player wants to leave, I am not a jailer. I thanked him for two years of enormous contribution. We facilitated the deal. We treated him like a human being, not a hostage. Now the same player says, in public, with honesty: I want to fulfil my dream. Barcelona. Everyone in football knows what that means for an Argentine who grew up watching that shirt. And now Simeone and the president discover principles. Suddenly the contract is sacred. Suddenly ‘he is our player and we will look after him.’ Suddenly they will sell him to Arsenal, to the moon, to anyone — just not to the one club he named as his dream. That is not protecting the club. That is spite. That is ego. That is a coach who was happy to tap a contracted City player when it suited him, and now pretends he is the guardian of loyalty when the player wants to go to Camp Nou. You cannot call a boy five times to steal him from Manchester and then whistle him in your own stadium because he wants Barcelona. You cannot use De Paul and Molina as recruiters and then act shocked when the same player is honest two years later. Either contracts are holy or they are not. You cannot change the religion depending on who is buying. Julián was never a problem for me. He worked, he pressed, he scored, he never complained in the dressing room. When he asked to leave, I helped him leave. That is respect. What they are doing now is the opposite. They are telling a World Cup winner: you can go anywhere except the place that lives in your head. If Simeone wanted to be consistent, he would pick up the phone the same way he did in 2024 and say: ‘Go. We will not hold you hostage.’ Instead they hide behind Gil Marín, behind a clause nobody will ever pay, and they shop him to Arsenal like a punishment. I have nothing against Atlético as a club. I have a problem with hypocrisy. You cannot hunt a player under contract and then chain him when he hunts his own dream. That is not leadership. That is fear dressed up as dignity.

A critical analysis of the psychological profile of a dangerous personality called Vijay and his abysmally zilch IQ fans! Senior Journalist Mr Mani did a brilliant analysis of the personality called Vijay and his low IQ mercurial fans. I want to add some questions and thoughts on how different actors and their fans conducted themselves in the past and present! How were MGR fans? MGR was in both cinema and politics at the same time. He was with Congress and then joined DMK. He grew politically and so did his fans. Hence his fans were policitised right fronm the beginning. Secondly, MGR never smoked or drank on screen and hence his fans had some kind of moral policing. How are Rajinikanth fans? The Rajinikanth I know is someone embracing spirituality and preaching the benefits of spiritual life and Kriya Yoga. He also ensured he advises his fans to take care of their families first. His fans were always matured and politically cognizant because of the 1996 issue. Rajinikanth is also one of the most respected artists in India and have friends across the entire political spectrum. How are Ajith fans? Ajith is a perfect gentleman. He is a private guy, who loves his family, pays his taxes and leads a dignified life. He has most often than not told his fans to look after them and their families, not to waste time on actors including himself. How are Vijay fans? After the Karur incident, it seems Vijay is a liar, a cheat, a hypocrite and an insecure self-serving individual. He has the habit of hyping everything about himself, his box office numbers, his image and his pseudo-persona. He never let his fans mature, because if they did, they'd leave him. That is why his fans are capable of climbing transformers, Temples with footwear, private properties and even small trees. Not to mention, even monkeys don't climb transformers. Vijay has always promoted drinking, smoking, drugs, soft porn and what not in his movies. Vijay's personal life is also a decayed piece of crap. So you can kind of figure out how the folks who follow him could be! Thanks to Gabriel Devadoss and Mr. Mani for the wonderful conversation that prompted me to come up with this write-up. Mr Mani is the only journalist in TN, who took a balanced stand on this issue!

🚨 Emmanuel Petit blasts Chelsea fans over Enzo Fernández situation: 🗣️ “Why are Chelsea fans turning their backs on Enzo Fernández simply because he wants to leave? How do you expect a player to feel when he doesn’t feel respected? The main objective of every footballer is to win trophies. Enzo arrived at Chelsea in 2023, and since then he has won only two trophies. Yet you expect him to be happy and never consider his ambitions? The boy isn’t even publicly complaining. He keeps giving his best for the team every season, but the moment he wants a new challenge, you throw everything he has done away like it means nothing. If Enzo joins Manchester City, I honestly believe he could become an even greater player. His former coach is there, and a manager who knows him and understands his qualities could get the very best out of him. And what is this deadline? Chelsea are telling Manchester City: ‘€120 million before Friday or the door is closed.’ Is this really about selling him, or are they playing mind games? Nobody forced Chelsea to pay €100 million for him. Manchester City cannot simply be expected to pay €120 million for a player who hasn’t won major individual accolades at club level since being named the Best Young Player at the 2022 World Cup — and at that time, he was still a Benfica player. If Pep Guardiola wants him, Manchester City should seriously consider backing their manager because he clearly sees something special in Enzo that Chelsea’s board may not be appreciating. But Chelsea’s valuation is simply too high. If they genuinely want Manchester City to buy him before Friday, they should lower the asking price to around €100 million. Keeping an unhappy player can damage everyone. If Enzo stays against his wishes and his performances drop, Chelsea could actually lose more money in the long run. And honestly, I don’t see an easy replacement for him in that midfield. If Chelsea let him go, there is another danger: Enzo could come back to haunt them whenever Chelsea face Manchester City. Maybe Chelsea don’t actually want to sell him. Maybe that €120 million Friday deadline is simply their way of saying, ‘Pay our price or forget the deal.’ But if they want to keep him, then keep him. If they want to sell him, be realistic with the valuation. You cannot have it both ways.” 🔥 Chelsea fans: Is Petit right about Enzo Fernández?
