Our culture is rooted in Christendom. And the virtues of this are what have lead to liberalization. Tolerance, equality, fairness, empathy, social and civic responsibility. These are the virtues that have allowed the progressive left to arise. Do they not see the irony? The very faith and institution that they denigrate, created the tolerances that allowed them to thrive. This is NOT what Islam teaches.
