My first attempt at putting a talk up directly here (I usually just add links to the video on our channel Here goes: this was a ~55 minute presentation and I had been asked to talk about the "Multiscale Human" (for I cover the topics of "what are we", "implications for biomedicine", and "future beyond human repair", from the perspectives of diverse intelligence at different spatial scales of our bodies and at the different time scales of evolution, development, and cognition.

Today, it was an absolute pleasure and honour to host the Delta State Economic & Investment Summit, themed “Harnessing Our Strengths, Unlocking Our Potentials,” at the Dome Event Centre, Asaba, with the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, serving as the keynote speaker. This marked the crystallisation of a journey that began in July and August last year with foreign investment missions to Brazil and China. At the Summit, I noted that our goal is to partner with prospective investors, with the overriding objective of building a modern economy that is strongly diversified and adaptable to the physical, social and technological changes of the 21st century.
