One of my kitties, we nicked named him Jesus because when he slipped into the pool, he ran across the top of the water to the other side and into the house. The only thing that got wet was his feet and his tail, his body never touched the water, LMAO

Sensory in the fur pulls the pores on the skin..They feel like they will drown..That's why they move up any way they can..This is how a cat can tear you up..

I had a Maine coon - My brother found him: a starving feral kitten. His mother was missing - presumed dead. He loved water- especially the rain. He lived 20 long years. 18 pounds at his fighting weight.
