Every year, I repost this same video on Good Friday. Every year, it brings me to absolute tears and stops me in my tracks. What's so good about Good Friday? In the midst of what can only be described as complete darkness, torture, evil, and death... God in His abundant, enduring, everlasting love for us reverses the curse of sin to bring salvation to each of us, individually. I truly believe we are living in a far-too-often very dark time in human history. The demons are getting loud, but so are those fighting for God and proclaiming the truth. It's why you're seeing a true revival led by young people to seek the light in the midst of the darkness, inspired by the abundant, unconditional, endless love of God offering Himself for us. Good Friday is GOOD, always, because even in the darkness of death and the shadow of sin, Jesus is at work fighting for us. God is always working all things together for GOOD, even when we can’t understand how or see it with our own two eyes. Don't be discouraged by the evil out there. GOOD is still present, if we know where to look for it.

Max Levchin explains why B-players hire C-players The co-founder of PayPal and Affirm reflects on the famous Steve Jobs insight that A-players hire A-players, and B-players hire C-players: “It’s profoundly true. But there should be an asterisk explaining why this is true. And the reason for this is fear.” A-players love working with other A-players because they know it will make them better. They want other A-players who challenge them and will tell them when their work isn’t good. Most B-players are net positive too, but as Max argues, some are fearful and will say: “If I have too many B-players or A-players around, I will look terrible and it’ll be very obvious that I’m just not that good. Take a look at this very good source for the BBC, interviewed about 20 minutes ago. He’s a local journalist, possibly the only local journalist. He pulls himself up in an early answer, after unintentionally saying ‘he’. He’s tired, he’s been live-streaming for hours, it slipped out. He’s trying to do his best. This man obviously knows the facts around the killer’s sex and identity. He doesn’t want to publish them, the BBC doesn’t want to publish them, and it’s fair to wait for police confirmation. But the BBC has at its fingertips the information, off the record, that the killer is male, and likely trans-identified. This contributor should, please us all, have been asked about this OTR. At the very LEAST, the BBC can act on this information and forbear from using the words ‘woman’ and ‘female’. At the least. All outlets could have this information and either publish it or at least stop going along with the claim that the killer was a woman.

How we look on the outside is one of part but mainly it’s about how we get along, like how we come together, how we adapt with each other. We don’t need to have the same personality but it’s about understanding and how we accept each other. What each other’s limitations, and does it work out if we match it together? Can we adjust it? Can we turn it up or down? Well, kind of talk in lot of things. If we can complement that, I think we can ‘match up’. I think it’s a good non-toxic love by that way. Being able to talk about anything and understand each other is important for keeping it going long-term.
