I remember the time drinking two canteen’s of water, and we just sat there and sat there, with my peripheral vision, I could see people squirming, that we did exercising, then stood in formation, then you got your candy stripers rolling in their piss, lmao

That was the worst! Forced hydration.

The Best thing I did for myself was Take the oath and serve my Country, my one regret is I should have joined the Marines. I was a active duty Combat Engineer in the US Army, served at 3 different posts in the US. All Young people should serve. Best way to grow up!

I miss being part of the culture. The Marine Corps was difficult at times, but faithful and dependable. If more young Devil Dogs knew the world knows nothing of the values found in the Corps, they would fight harder to stay in longer. That's for sure.
