In response to a question about what she says to people who remember the Trump economy fondly, Kamala Harris begins by rightfully pointing out that the country was in shambles when she and Biden took office

"There's more to do. But that's good work" -- Harris with a strong, full-throated defense of the Biden/Harris economic record

Harris explains shifting her position on fracking by pointing out it actually hasn't changed since 2020, emphasizing "my values have not changed. I believe it's very important that we take seriously what we most do to guard against what's a clear crisis in terms of the climate"

Harris responds to a question about immigration by bringing up the bipartisan border security bill and criticizing Trump for scuttling it

Harris says she's open to appointing a Republican to her cabinet because she values "diversity of opinion"

Harris on Trump's racist attacks: "Same old, tired playbook. Next question, please."

Harris doesn't commit to any policy changes on Israel/Hamas but says, "Israel has a right to defend itself ... and how it does so matters."

Walz responds to a question about what fertility treatments his wife used and his DWI arrest from three decades ago by pivoting to talking about issues

Harris says unequivocally that she has no regrets about defending President Biden when people were calling for him to get out of the race and praises him.

"My first thought was about him, to be honest. I think history is gonna show a number of things about Joe Biden's presidency" - Harris says she was sitting down to do a puzzle w/ her nieces when Biden called & told her he was getting out of the race and & was going to endorse her

Walz on his son Gus getting emotional during his speech: "I'm grateful I got to experience it. I'm so proud of him. I'm proud of him, I'm proud of hope, I'm proud of Gwen ... our politics can be better ... life can be kinda hard."
