"I would have a bigger problem with my players going out there starting a fight... Our teams would never do that because we had too much respect for Coach Schembechler, for Coach Moeller... We just took that 'L.'" - Desmond Howard.

Also @DesmondHoward the @UMichFootball the players are the ones who went out there and started a fight by planting the flag - how do you not see that as the catalyst????

He 100% correct on this, if your team lost take it like a man and get it off the field and don’t fight the winning team it is as simple as that

As usual, Dez says what needs to be said and the rest just aren’t ready for that truth

Plant your flag, zero problem with it. But kicking, disrespecting, and taunting your opponent after beating them and not expecting them to anything about it is a WILD take. Win with class and celebrate with your team.

Ryan Day: “This game is a war. Anytime there's a war, there's consequences and casualties. Then, there's the plunder and the rewards that come with it. That's what it is.”Nov 26, 2024 the reward is planting the flag

Ain’t no just taking the L when there isn’t any “act like ya been there”…at the very least there should be an understanding that not everybody responds the same to disrespect, win or lose

I'm with Desmond. If you don't want a team to plant a flag on your grass (which is much better than a lot more hostile acts that winning teams have done in the past), then win the game. I don't care what y'all say. You had 2+ hours to fight.

If Ohio state did that to Michigan, everyone here would be laughing and celebrating

Billionaire Palmer Luckey on why he only flies coach “I don’t fly private and do fly coach,” billionaire founder of Anduril and Oculus Palmer Luckey says. “For me, it’s a reasoned thing. With exceptions for long, international travel, we only cover coach travel for our employees — it’s only a few hours, and it’s a very bad use of company money for us to be buying business or first-class for people. Because we have so much travel at the company, we could easily spend a very serious fraction of our resources on people traveling instead of slightly better seats.” To lead by example, Palmer will fly coach — even when he uses his own money: “People say, ‘Well, why don’t you just fly first-class?’ And here’s why: if I’m going to ask my employees to do it, I need to do it too — even when it’s my own money. It’s not that I would appear out of touch, I would literally be out of touch. Maybe one day coach gets so bad that I literally tell everyone, ‘I hear you, we’re all going business now.’ But today is not that day.” He continues: “I love the back of the plain by the window. Nobody bothers you. You can let everyone get off the plane before you. You don’t have to fight anybody . . . And my grandpa was a pilot for United Airlines for over 40 years. So I also grew up around commercial airlines and to me there is a certain romanticism to mass-market, mass-available air travel. What an incredible thing. And we did it — America did it! We figured out how to make it economically viable, and we build everyone else’s airplanes. It is an American thing.” Source: My First Million (Oct 2022)
