Warren Buffett brilliantly explains how he chooses winning stocks/companies - so simple but genius "When i was 23, if i got interested in the coal business, I would go out and see the CEOs of eight or ten coal companies. And the interesting thing was I never made appointments or anything. I just dropped in. But they felt a fellow from Omaha who looked like me couldn't be too harmful... so they they'd always see me. And I would and ask them a lot of questions, but two questions I would ask them were: One, if they had to put all of their money into any coal company except their own and go away for 10 years and couldn't change it, which one would it be and why? And after I got an answer to that, I would ask, if they had to sell short an equivalent amount of money in one coal company, which would it be and why? And if I went around and talked to everybody in the coal business about that, I would know more about the coal companies from an economic standpoint than any one of those managers probably would. So, I think there's lots of ways to learn about business."

He says the University has done a very good job in NIL over the years, but wants to get to a place where his team can beat the teams that have 'unlimited' NIL.
