You can cut her allowance or refuse to buy something she wants as punishment until she accomplishes what she needs to in school. Reward her instead, that’s nuts. Hey, as a mom of two daughters myself, one is 17 and the other is 11, we don’t know the entire backstory behind this. If you listen to the mom she says “I told you not to do this… I told you this was going to happen…”. If you have ever dealt with a strong willed child, you know. You reach your limits. She didn’t hurt this girl, hair grows back and there are wigs, maybe she can redeem herself and get it redone. Yall that are doing the soft parenting have to see some kids need to learn the hard way. We love them enough to show them even if it hurts us too.

My dad never liked the fact when I had my hair grown out for a while. So instead of doing something like this, he would introduce me as his daughter. He won that battle.
