Before fuel went up every night when there's no light the tenants from my compound and next compounds will on their gen, not anymore. And now even my next door neighbour that ons his gen does it from 7:30pm to 10pm. It's costly to buy now that's why there's no scarcity of it.

There are two sets of people affected in the two scenerios you just presented: First scenario - gas scarcity/money available: you have money, but there is no availability of gas to buy, and the price would be high for conservation purposes when demand exceeds supply! Second scenario - availability of gas/money not available: there is gas available to purchase but the money is not available! This is when supply is higher than demand. This is even manageable because the price of gas would be forced to be reduced, but it's only those who have little money would buy which they still can't get enough. Those who can't get gas, and those who wouldn't get enough because of money restraint! THE WORST SCENARIO OF ALL Third scenario - no availability of gas/no money available: there are not enough gas and not enough money to buy gas either! You increase the price of gas when even the demand and supply are at deficit equilibrium! Worst economy ever! Note: Nigeria is currently experiencing the third scenario. Thanks to Dangote Refinery, but we need more of him!
