@BriTANicK Brennan missed a key plot point about the dreamer should not realise it's a dream, and then decided to spend years getting angry about it. Brennan is a funny dude, but he's got some good awful takes on many things.

@BriTANicK This take is common but I think wrongheaded. It is a movie about reality vs unreality & not knowing which is which. A recurring theme of Nolan: being fooled: by magic, memory, or dreams They are trying to make dreams that fool the dreamer. bug nuts shit would give the game away.

@BriTANicK If you want to see what a really out of pocket surreal movie about going into people's dreams just watch paprika, inception lifted entire scenes out of it along with the premise, the difference is Satoshi Kon didn't shy away from getting weird with it
