“There’s a song called tomorrow, most people don’t know about it, it’s one of the B-side tracks, and only our fans know about it. I really like that song, because I wrote it in high school. I wrote the beat and stuff when I was a trainee. It was released after we debuted. I actually wrote the melody and the lyrics when I was in hospital, after my appendix burst. The song itself has a hopeful tone. I really love this song. I’m not saying it’s my absolute favourite. But I keep thinking about it.”

The ‘Survive’ EP is out today and along with it the last song ‘The Day That I Die’. This is a tune I wrote about the lowest I’ve felt in my life and truth be told it feels a bit weird putting it out there for people to hear but I’m honestly the proudest I’ve ever been about a song with this one. It’s been an absolute pleasure being back releasing music and playing shows the last six months and I’m honestly so pleased to say I feel so far removed from the place I was when I wrote this song. jisung talking about his ost ‘let it show’ 🐿: they came to me and said "there's an ost, would you like to do it?" i was like "that sounds great, i'll do it" that time i haven't heard the song yet but when they asked if i wanted to do the ost, i definitely want to do it. i received the song the next day. oh right, i first listened to it when we were doing hi-touch in japan. i received the song during the schedule and recorded the song as soon as i got back to korea!

cannot explain how shocked I was to find out that Eve never got a Grammy for "You Got Me" by The Roots. the song was such a massive hit and her verse was so essential to that song, I can't imagine it without her on it.

A year ago today…The video that changed everything was born!!! 🥹✨ THANK YOU ALL for taking this idea and dream and helping it manifest into what it is today! SO many talented people behind the scenes and IN this one! From this song just being the affirmation I needed to get through postpartum, to the visual being a timeless celebration of our culture, I’m so grateful for the process and how it was received.
