Ibiza 2000 vs Ibiza 2024

Once upon a time having fun was important, today showing others you were at fun places is more important.

Millennials are probably the last generation that had fun in reality without worrying about devices. Now the retards only attend these events so they can record and get likes on the posts once they get home.

This is sad. I grew up during the rise of the rave scene. Humans were designed to dance with one another. Its in our bones.

Back in 2000 it was about the music and not how good you look on social media! Nowadays it's stuck up pretentious wannabes! And the music was far better back in day!

Hardly a fair comparison when one is a dance party and the other is a visual performance.

At the end of the 90s we went to Ibiza and there were crowds of dancing kids that made the dance floor look like a breathing lung; I remember a hill populated by the participants of an open-air house party that reminded you of grass in the wind so much movement was there, 🤦‍♂️

It was always about attention for the ibiza folks… but in 2000 they fought for local attention and now they fight for online attention

Entertainment used to be about participating and living in the moment, entertainment now is about recording the moment, so you can share to people who can look at you recording a moment you weren't participating in

Look I get the point but the second song is an absolute banger and phones were probably taken out because it was an intro to the DJ or whatever. It's not like they're standing in that position for 3 hours.

So glad I experienced my rave years from 2002-2006. I’m so curious about what the long term ramifications of this shit will be. 😬
