For those in an uproar about Trump opening Alligator Alcatraz, this man lays out some points to remember: The people here illegally have the option to self-deport voluntarily. If they do, they’ll be put on a list where they can come back legally and faster. But if they are deported this way, that’s it. They cannot come back. Being sent to Alligator Alcatraz is only a temporary thing for up to 2 weeks. They’re also being sent back on a plane. If we, as Americas, went to any other country in the world and got caught there illegally we would be treated far worse, detained or jailed for longer than 2 weeks and we sure as hell would not be sent back to America on a plane. Trump is actually being super lenient compared to how some other countries would handle this. Regardless of whether they committed criminal acts while here, they committed a criminal act by coming here illegally in the first place. And for the people complaining about how much this all costs - if Biden/Harris can use hundreds of millions of taxpayer money to house them, then Trump can use money to get them out of the country!
