After over a year of fear mongering and calling our economic relationship with the US a weakness, Mark Carney is now calling for deeper integration and the offer is on the table; "To be absolutely clear, Canada, like Mexico, remains open to deeper integration, including options for Fortress North America in selected sectors. And to be clear, those offers are on the table." About time. Fortress North America is right. Complete added value supply chain for all critical industrie and manufacturing. And let me be clear: we should most definitely continue create global trade and partnership but our eye must be on the ball. The US emerging technologies need all the critical minerals and energy we can offer. They will take them all. But it's also an opportunity for Canada to participate alongside this technological boom and develop our industries otherwise we won't be able to develop.
