Protesters clashed with law enforcement on Wednesday night after an ICE officer shot a man during an arrest in Minneapolis. Video shows fireworks exploding and tear gas being deployed toward protesters. An ICE officer shot a man in the leg after allegedly being attacked by three men with a snow shovel and a broom handle during an arrest operation, according to the Department of Homeland Security. All three men, who DHS says were from Venezuela and were in the U.S. illegally, were arrested and taken into ICE custody. Both the officer and the man shot were taken to the hospital. The shooting came exactly one week after ICE officer Jonathan Ross fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Good in south Minneapolis.

Federal agents prevented a doctor from helping Renee Good after she was shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. A mother, a poet, a human being whose life was slipping away, and help was turned away. A neighbor cried out, "where are they?" when told that medics are on scene. This is unconscionable.

🚨🇺🇸 BREAKING: WOMAN FATALLY SHOT BY ICE AGENT IN MINNEAPOLIS IDENTIFIED AS 37-YEAR-OLD RENEE NICOLE GOOD A woman shot and killed by an ICE agent during an immigration operation in Minneapolis has been identified as Renee Nicole Good, 37. Her mother, Donna Granger: "Renee was one of the kindest people I've ever known. She was compassionate, loving, forgiving. She was probably terrified." What happened: ICE agents were conducting an operation in south Minneapolis when several vehicles allegedly blocked their path. Agents ordered Good to move her SUV. Video shows she accelerated toward an officer, striking him with her vehicle. He fired three shots. Good was struck in the head and pronounced dead at the hospital. The ICE agent was hospitalized after being hit. Trump said it's "hard to believe he is still alive." The divide: DHS called Good a "domestic terrorist" who "weaponized her vehicle attempting to kill federal officers." Good's mother said she wasn't "part of anything like that at all." Mayor Jacob Frey: "To ICE, get the f—k out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here." Gov. Tim Walz: "I've seen the video. Don't believe this propaganda machine." The shooting occurred during a massive immigration operation tied to the Minnesota fraud investigations. Source: NYP
