ICE has done nothing but terrorize communities. Murdering two citizens and detaining a 5 year old in Minnesota. This isn’t right. ICE should be abolished. I stand with the people of Minnesota protesting these clear injustices.

I went to Minnesota last week after a mother was shot and killed by ICE. Today, another person was shot and killed in broad daylight. If Minnesota is where the fight for the soul our nation is going to be then I will go back again and again until ICE is out of Minnesota. And I will keep fighting until ICE is out of all of our communities. And I will keep fighting until ICE no longer exists.

On Friday, I stood with the protestors at the Whipple Building in Minneapolis as a line of 70-80 ICE officers marched at us. In that crowd you could feel the anger and sadness over what ICE has done to the great state of Minnesota. But you could also feel the fierce drive that Minnesotans have to stand with their community and peacefully protest. When Minnesota comes together, we will not lose.
