ZANUPF is taking ID Numbers and names of voters before they vote, and telling them that it will know who they would have voted for. Current Arizona state law only allows voters and those running the election within the 75-foot perimeter of a voting location to ensure safety and security. By running SB1570, Senator Hoffman is acknowledging that federal immigration officers are not allowed to interfere at voting centers or polling places currently. This bill would open the door to voter intimidation, not only of our newest citizens that may have come from violent non-democratic counties, but also every day citizens that have seen tragic videos of other ICE interactions. Every eligible voter must be given the confidence and support to exercise their right to vote freely.

"Many of us have talked about organizing to have people at the polling places, to escort people in, to make sure they don't feel intimidated by these people who have no right to be there." "The more we can keep National Guard off our streets and away from these polling places, the better off we are. But there are a lot of strategies that are going to be employed." "I don't want to give away what everybody's thinking about how they would do it. It'll be state by state, individually decided by those governors." Can we do that too, then?
