All I keep hearing are excuses after excuses. Where did the June Swoon phrase come from? It came from this time every year (despite Judge being in the lineup or not) where they play like absolute shit and nothing changes year to year. When you listen to interviews after the games they all just say "we're only a couple games out of first place. That is Boone talk for we don't need to be winning right now we just need to wait until we feel like playing again because it's a long season. George Steinbrenner said it best "show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser! @TalkinYanks The players reflect their coaching and Boone has everything to do with this sad state of affairs.

Yankees were meant to sign Bryce Harper and Manny Machado, and develop younger players like Clint Frazier. I like Stanton but Stanton’s contract was a mistake. Post steroid and post amphetamine Baseball is a young man’s game. Yankees need to be patient and develop their prospects like Rice and Warren.

They are a far superior team in every way shape & form by a wide margin. Lest Kay forget they spanked the Yanks in the WS in 5 with Soto/Judge/Stanton.

Many teams in baseball lose players and do not play this bad. There is no excuse for getting swept by a last place team.

Yes the Yankees are hurting because of injuries, but they could’ve won a couple of games if Boone didn’t make bonehead moves. Today they had the winning run on third in the bottom of the 10th with one out. He let Cabrera, who has yet to have a hit this year, bat when he could’ve pinch hit Goldschmidt.
