🚨 KANE WILLIAMSON ON THE 2019 WORLD CUP FINAL CONTROVERSY🚨 🗣️ The ball went to the boundary, and the rule is the rule. Stokes wasn’t obviously trying to run, but the ball accidentally deflected off his bat and raced to the boundary. But the umpire gave England 6 runs. Later, one of the former umpires clarified that the overthrow should have been 5 runs, not 6. But this was clarified only after the match. Then the match was tied, the Super Over was tied, and it came down to the boundary count. That was probably the most confusing part for us. But you can’t sit and sulk forever. We gave our best, competed in the best way we could, and were part of an incredible game. Of course, we would have preferred a different result, but eventually you have to appreciate that we were there.

HapdZi Birthday, Sam! As many of you are aware, as part of this year's "Sam's Birthday Fundraiser" we have been raising funds for the dZi Foundation. The dZi foundation works along side communities in Nepal providing support, infrastructure, knowledge, education, and upskilling, whilst working towards sustainability and self-sufficiency. They are doing truly amazing work within these communities and I am so very glad that they are this year's recipient. Now for the exciting part! Drum roll, please... I am very proud to announce that we were able to raise $32, 290USD! Yes, you read that correctly! $32,290USD! Thank you to everyone who has donated, those who were cheerleaders, and those who were donators and cheerleaders. I am so incredibly proud of our community and I hope that you are too! You guys are fabulous! I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Jake Norton for sharing his love of Nepal and its people with us. By sharing his memories, and parts of his recent trip with Sam, we were able to have a personal connection with both the people and the places that our donations will benefit. For that I will always be grateful to Jake. I would also like to thank Jake for his very, very generous donation match during the last week of the fundraiser. It was great to see Jake ensure that "Sam" finally made it to the top of "Everest." (Where there's a will, or in this case, a Jake, there's a way!) It’s dilapidated beyond recognition. It is actually a hazard that should have been closed off if your Ministry was at all functional. This sort of thing is why we were shocked that you were crowned the “best Minister”. Best at what when you have potholes so big they create a dam that lasts long after the rainstorm is over? Hana yenyu haina kurova here when you took that award? Given the perennial potholes that plague road networks everywhere, you actually owe us an apology for your incompetence. If this were a normal country, you would resign because the potholes and general state of our roads are cause for grave concern. It’s a mess, nothing to be proud of at all. Chaora@45. Trump Building Seizure Possible I see many people criticizing Letitia James for saying the following: "If he does not have funds to pay off the judgement then we will seek judgement enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets." This is NOT anything out of the ordinary. If you or I were to commit a crime or found liable of fraud we too would have assets seized. In fact authorities have seized assets of people who are never even charged with a crime, via civil asset forfeiture laws. If you want to be outraged about something get outraged about that!

I missed the Edinburgh Fringe joke of the year yesterday due to working 🙈 - I was in Disney last week & here’s one I told the grandkids 🤣 An assassin is running towards Donald Trump. Donald’s bodyguard sees him and shouts, “Mickey Mouse!” The assassin runs off in the other direction. His individual efforts to keep Cray Valley up were immense, that really impressed me so we know he’s go the character too. “I’ve been an admirer for a long time , I’ve always had to plan to play against him and now he’s with us it’s one less job for me! He will get bums off seats that’s for sure.” I’m sure many of you remember this strike he scored against us last season! #WeAreWings🪽

Day 23 - well that hurt a lot The hike from BC to camp 1 - what a monumental day - one of the hardest sessions in my life We awoke at midnight, had ‘brekkie’ at 12.30am, and we were pretty much gone by 1.30am The icefall is like a big Jungle Jim set, with constant overhanging danger - for the most part it is quite good fun, but there are not many places that you can stop safely to rest. I was so busy that I did not get the camera out once, despite the fact that some of the photo opportunities were incredible When you get to the top of the icefall, there are a number of sheer walls that need to be jumar’ed up and this is where the first sense of false security set in - all of us thought that we were nearing the end of the day and that the tents of camp 1 were not too far off. Big bloody mistake - whilst the terrain looks gently undulating, it is cleaved by whopping big crevasses and gullies, which inevitably means you have to go down to come back up. Some of the ice walls we had to climb were at least 10m and there were multiples of them The video below show just how tired we were as we crawled into camp 1 (9:30mins later, 850m altitude gained). Beyond gassed.

Open Letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah Shri Amit Shah avare, First, let me congratulate you for finally speaking the truth by openly revealing the BJP's real opinion about Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Your statement in Parliament (18-12-2024) didn’t surprise us; we already knew your party’s true mindset. But now, the entire country has seen your lack of respect for the architect of the Indian Constitution. Standing in the very Parliament that runs under his Constitution and calling his memory a "habit" shows your arrogance. Congratulations, Mr. Shah, for this shameless act! Do not attempt to mislead the nation by saying, "I have immense respect for Babasaheb, and my words were twisted." We are not gullible. Own up to your words and face the nation. For us, Ambedkar is not a "fashion" but an eternal inspiration. As long as we breathe, as long as the Sun and Moon shine on this Earth, Ambedkar's legacy will endure. The more you try to diminish his memory, the stronger it will rise to guide us forward. While your sycophants might have clapped at your arrogance, remember this: millions across this country, who have gained equality and dignity because of Babasaheb, are condemning you. Had Dr. Ambedkar not been born, I wouldn't have had the privilege of becoming the Chief Minister today—I might have been herding cattle in my village.
