“I'd been wanting to do a track like Another One Bites The Dust for a while, but originally all I had was the line and the bass riff. I could hear it as a song for dancing but had no idea it would become as big as it did.”... show more

Without Another One Bites The Dust, Hot Space wouldn't exist lol.

"Freddie would certainly fight for things he believed in. Like 'Another One Bites The Dust' which was a bit of a departure for Queen. Roger, at the time, certainly felt that it wasn't rock and roll and was quite angry at the way it was going. Immediately Freddie became violently enthusiastic and said, 'Darling, leave it to me. I believe in this. This is big! This is important! I'm going to spend a lot of time on this.' John had written the song. But it took Freddie's support to make it happen." - Dr. Brian May #FreddieMercury.

"That's another disgraceful decision ... if Calrton had gone on to lose that game, you would have every right as a Carlton supporter to go berserk." Another one bites the dust 😳

“That song is Freddie being magnificent and being a god – which he was quite good at.” Brian May 🎸 Queen had plenty of crowd pleasers that unified the audience into one massive chorus - such as In The Lap Of The Gods. Watch Now ⬇️ 🎥 #QTGLive

Junkyard Dog didn't always use Another One Bites The Dust in Mid-South.... In 1983-84 he switched to using Atomic Dog by George Clinton as it was a more contemporary song and it just fit....

“I think Roger was thinking about it as just another track, but I instantly felt there was something in there, a really good, strong, saleable commodity.” Freddie Mercury 🎤 There are few better examples of band and audience in total harmony than Roger Taylor’s classic 1984 single 'Radio Ga Ga'! ⬇️ 🎥 #QTGLive

Gary Oldman's "EVERYONE!!" scream in Léon: The Professional is so iconic people yell it at him in the street. Turns out it started as a joke between him and Luc Besson. He explains: “What's strange is that it's become this sort of iconic line, and it was all done as a joke. And that was the thing, I played the scene…. And I had a relationship with Luc. Luc Besson was kind of mad in a way — I mean, we were shooting on film. He would say to me, "OK, do the scene again, but now do it as Robert De Niro." Or do it as... And he would shoot it for kicks, and his archive. So we had a fun kind of relationship… I said to Luke, "I just want to do one more, let me do one more." And I went to the sound guy and I said, "I'm going to be really loud, so be careful." And said “bring me everyone" — you know, EVERYONE like that. I just did it as a joke to make Luc laugh. I was a little shocked when I saw it in the film, yeah. It was just me fooling around — with intensity, with feeling — and yet it's become this line now.”

🐹Even though the feeling of love is gone and.. I get confused every time I try to talk about it. Even though they suffer because of love, they just can't seem to let go of each other. Tbh, it's an emotion hard for me to understand so it was challenging (to be immersed into it) when I was singing the song. But this song was the easiest to listen to so it was stronly recommended as the title track. Actually, this wasn't the title track I originally had in mind. There was another song I was hoping to go with, but many people told me this one felt the most comfortable to listen to and was the most suitable for a title track. So I took another 2 or 3 days for me to really think it over and in the end, I realized this song felt the most naturally comfortable and I thought a lot of people would enjoy it. That's how we ended up choosing it as the title track, the reason behind the title selection. I think it deserved to be the title. That was right the decision. EUCERIN X SHOPEE WITH EMI #EucerinxEmi 🦊: It was my first time acting as twins. 🎤: Was it challenging? 🦊: I was very afraid. At first, I was afraid. I had to do a lot of workshops as the twins. After I figured out how to play each of the characters, when it was time for a scene change and I had to change the character I was playing, I jumped right into that character, but it was like I hadn't prepared my body for it, 🎤: The change was sudden, right? 🦊: It was going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. The first day I had to act as twins, I cried. During the lunch break, I didn't eat lunch. I told the team that I wanted to go sleep instead, and while lying there alone, all of a sudden my tears were flowing. I was in a messy state then. 🎤: You guys have to give her a lot of encouragement, okay? 🦊: It was like, why are my emotions swinging from one end to another so drastically? Later on I realised what I had to do. I had to approach it slowly. I had to slowly boost myself and get into character, not jump straight into character as soon as they said, "Action!"

So i had an idea for a composing challenge thing but idk who'd be down the premise would be you'd basically have the first bar of a song in the original vs sonic.exe like 1:1 and then you'd finish the song as if you were the one composing it with no knowledge of the official

Yet another Opus 5.5 p(doom) music video I noticed a lot of the other ones I'd seen for this song had the same imagery, and I assumed they were all using one as a reference, but no, the model does just latch onto the same few ideas. I had to specifically prompt *not* to use some of those images The jump in computer use (and "taste") is really quite impressive. I'm not a fan of AI for art but there's obviously a huge market for it once the slop factor is gone (/ it's not recognisable as AI generated).

I'm not sure if anyone else did this, but I would rub the end of a mercury thermometer on a blanket to act like I had a fever. One day I overdid it and the thermometer said I had 110° temperature, and the gig was up.

Will Ospreay has revealed part of the reason behind why Baba O'Riley was chosen for his AEW All In 2026 entrance was because the song was used for an MV Zone tribute video to Bryan Danielson in 2011. "There was a song that we wanted, but we just couldn’t get a licence fee for it. I won’t put it out there because maybe one of these days I will be able to track it down again. I’d like to leave that as a surprise. But it was Mike Mansury that came up with the idea of The Who Baba O’Riley. "I’ll be honest with you, I have a connection with that song because there was a music video from the MV Zone. It was like a kind of little backyard wrestling music video group, and they did a Bryan Danielson tribute to that song, so I have a little bit of a connection to it. "I was just okay, I quite like the idea and The Who is British as well, so that’s kind of cool. But I remember listening to it and on the travels that me and Al (Alex Windsor) did, and I was just like, I don’t know if I feel it. The other song that I wanted got my juices flowing. It was my favourite song. I don’t know if I feel it. It was only when I heard the voiceover and I saw the clips that were all around it. I was like, 'this is perfect. This is it. Don’t change a thing.'" (Source: Chris Van Vliet)

THE LAST TIME - Led Zeppelin performing “Kashmir” at the O2 arena in 2007 for what would be one of the most anticipated reunions in rock and roll history. Over 20 million people entered a worldwide lottery for the chance at being one of the lucky 18,000 fans in attendance. This concert was done as a tribute to the great Ahmet Ertegun, who was the co-founder and president of Atlantic Records. Fans waited 27 years for a reunion like this following the passing of drummer John Bonham, and as evidence in this clip, it did not disappoint. For such a long hiatus, Zeppelin was firing on all cylinders throughout the 2.5 hour performance on this evening. Furthermore, the emotion of the night was intensified due to Zeppelin tapping into Bonhams son, Jason Bonham, to fill the big shoes his father had left behind. Robert Plant was as lively as ever, showing his skills as the ultimate frontman, while Jimmy Page’s guitar playing was beyond impressive. John Paul Jones was a true wildcard, adding his thunderous bass and seriously underrated synth skills to the evening. and Jason Bonham did his father proud, perhaps stealing the show with his note-perfect playing on the drum kit. Recorded in 1974 at Headley Grange, this masterpiece found its home on the iconic double album, ‘Physical Graffiti.’ This song was a defining milestone for the band, all four members have agreed that it was one of their greatest musical achievements. Jimmy was asked by The Edge how this riff came to be during the film “It Might Get Loud”, and he explained that it was born out of him experimenting with the DADGAD tuning, which is similar to a sitar tuning. Furthermore, he explains he had this song, “Swan Song”, which he had been working on that had a lot of intricate guitar sections on it. The ending riff to that song was the descending section we hear on “Kashmir” and Jimmy flipped it over on itself to create the riff we know today - truly a hypnotic riff that intoxicates you every time you listen. Enjoy!
