If this is the PS2 game I think it is, no you don't. It is a clone of one of the Final Fantasy games and more linear. Some of my coworkers and I despised testing this or one of the LOTR games by EA very similar to it. I think the same engine was used for Batman Begins. Twas a weird time to do overtime work for monies and burritos or pizza. I don't even include it on my career history.

I would like a remake over a remaster, i think it would benefit greatly, mostly just in character roster and identity. Merry, Pippin, Sam, Frodo all play identically, so does Faramir and Aragorn, a remake would allow them to have unique upgrades and moves and fell more unique

A remake. Closer to the books. Bigger missions, with a new, fresh refined combat system. Possible something akin to "For Honour" and a camera that isn't 10 feet away from the characters. Sick of cheap remasters. Take a leaf out of Resident evil 4's book.

This game and the movies were so far ahead of their time.. I played the piss out of this game whenever I was with my friend who owned the game. (I was poor and didn’t have the system or the game)
