I'd like to know why Jose Leclerc wasn't ejected for this. Very first pitch after the Altuve homer, Leclerc had far better command yesterday than Abreu, and it's a slightly better spot to drill a guy than Adolis' spot in the 8th. If we're ejecting on intent, this was intent.

Deep cut nerdy baseball thought: Runner on first. Chandler Simpson hits a grounder. Could you argue that it's better to get Simpson out at first than to get the lead runner? Essentially that Simpson being on base at all is more threatening than the other runner advancing to scoring position? Probably not in this spot, but I think it becomes an interesting discussion if for example there's no outs and a weak-armed catcher. This is quite funny. We're visiting Kamakura in Japan and we came across a large group of Chinese tourists in a place that, at first glance, looked nothing special. Turns out that this very spot is one of THE most iconic locations in Japan for Chinese people who grew up in the 1990s. Why? Because in the 1990s there was this Japanese basketball manga called "slam dunk" that every kid was watching in China, and the opening credits featured an image of this very spot: a railroad crossing on a small street leading to the beach in Kamakura. Apparently this place is so popular with Chinese tourists that they had to cordon it off at some point. Now it's obviously reopened with 3 guards assigned to handle the traffic. And now that they've heard about it, it's my daughters' turn to be hooked on the series so maybe in 20 years' time they'll be perpetuating the passion and come back to this "Slam Dunk" shrine ☺️

NGL, I wasn’t sure if or how well I’d do making this corner cabinet with drawers. This was a Pinterest idea from my wife. Turned out far better than expectations. Now just need to attache the faces and put the handles on. (And sand and finish)

After the rain yesterday, our team visited a spot where young boys sleep on the streets. It was heartbreaking to see them gathering old clothes just to stay warm in front of nearby shops. New Minimax model handles 2D animation very nice! So far very impressive model.... we are so spoiled these days with options it's a great time to be a creator. Worth noting, the sound on this model is significantly better than some of the other options.. Feels close to SD 2.0

I remembered why I never leave the bacon strips whole in omelettes after I tried to cut it with a fork. But it worked out even better than I imagined. This was 4 eggs, 2 oz of Boursin and 6 pieces of bacon and it was the best omelet I ever had.
