Idc they could've made it far 😭😭

Destiny’s Child’s Child?

⏰️🫖

The fact that Sevyn Streeter has been in the game for so long and still doesn’t get the recognition she deserves

FACTS

Looking back at this Sevyn was definitely the star, glad she got a chance to make some good solo music. Call me crazy but went double platinum in my phone

ALL FACTS

The people complaining about the yelling is so new to this song 😂. After the 3rd listen, you get used to it.

Like regardless lmao they singing & it's a bop

All the people agreeing in the comments

AS THEY SHOULD

They opened up for Beyoncè on the I am….sasha fierce tour! Everybody was SAT!

They were SO good live!

& they worked with Rich Harrison! They were headed for success

Music companies were giving up too fast and that La the real tea on why we don’t have a real success story like DC3 right now and kpop took over! The did the same thing with Junes Diary like write the songs and put them to work all it would take is a consistent 3 years!

And it's not like the girls weren't hungry because they WERE

My intro to Sevyn Streeter!!! 😭 the quality has been there!

SAME

Agreed. Swagger Right was also my shit!!

I remember the first time I heard this, i said I hear someone but I don’t see them…👀 Otherwise this and 24 by them are still going platinum TO THIS DAY!

YOU GET IT

Im still mad af!! Cause they were🔥🔥🔥

RIGHT

They definitely could’ve. I LOVED this group. So many good songs: Swagga Right, Itty Bitty, Back to the Club, Millionaire, Uncharted Waters, Selfish, 24’s…I could go on and on…

CLOCK IT

I USED TO HAVE THIS SONG ON REPEAT !!!!!!!! omg the nostalgia 😭😭

Your taste 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

This just PMO… made me remember that we never got this!

I'M THE CHIEF I'M THE BOSS I'M IN CHARGE

They had some good songs too, as Richgirl. Still mad they didn't take off. I love Sevyn. And Brave came out with a good album or EP too after she was on R&B Divas.

I love "you tried it"

Yesssss!!!

The many groups Sevyn and Lyndrette had to join smh I loved this group. Another group that should have made it was Dear Jayne. Miss the early to mid 2000's up and coming girl groups.

I totally forgot about this song since my MP3 lost its life 💔thanks for bringing it back on my TL

🥰🥰🥰

don’t fight me for this but who is this? people know her, no?

Lyndriette, apparently she got in another group after Richgirl idr what she went by or the other group name

@deontewelton Kristal and she was in June’s Diary. She has recently been doing background singing for Muni Long with a couple of women from that group.

@SomaKazima2 yes!!!!! i was like i know her!!!!! 😭😭😭

@Lboogey86 @SomaKazima2 Meanwhile that girl has been the same age for years so I'm confused lmao

@Lboogey86 @SomaKazima2 hell. she look younger in junes diary 😭😭😭

Just a hootin and hollerin

I play this at insane levels at least once every other week ☹️😭🤍

SAME

See, I like you !

When I tell you I was OBSESSED with them! I really thought they were about to be the second coming of Destiny’s Child. 😭

Wait that’s Seyen 🙂

Well yes!

I remember this song, just ain’t know who they was - they had a lil run on the radio

Rich Girl and Electrik Red both had me in a chokehold… I still listen to “P Is For Power” and “W.F.Y” on repeat

I loved how each one took a verse love it bring this back

RIGHT

24’s is my songgggg 😭

24 INCHES FROM THE GROUND

RichGirl Electrik Red June’s Diary The way the industry has fumbled three dope ass girl groups like that is crazy. RichGirl is literally a lovechild of Destiny’s Child and En Vogue. Shit ain’t fair.

I don’t understand. What happened? They were perfect and all could SING!! 😒

The label didn't know how to market them so they just shelved them

PLAY THE KEYS RICH!!! 🎹

Swagger right ate toooo

AND DID

@shotbydominque Are we hearing the same thing?

@serveempressSol This was there ONLY good song but it made a lasting impression on me lmao

@serveempressSol All of their songs were good lol

@serveempressSol This the only one I ever heard so yes 😭

@SomaKazima2 @serveempressSol Ooh. Go watch the swagger right video ft fabolous

@SomaKazima2 @serveempressSol 📝 c’mon fam! I’ma tune in

@Thee_Empreign @serveempressSol 24's!

I bump this at least once a month on repeat on a good leg day

I think about Lyndriette all the time. I really wish they would've went further, but Lynn been doing this for yrs. I just wish she wasn't overlooked cuz she be eating

This song is actually a masterpiece

YOU HEARD IT

Can do word for word to this day!!!!

Because you're REAL
