This is not any brilliant move, just a cheap tactics to lure or encourage passengers to buy ticket, instead of creating proper infrastructure, so that no can enter or exit WT. They should learn from @OfficialDMRC ticketing system. Every passenger purchase their ticket to travel.

About 35 years ago, BTS (now BMTC) Bengaluru Transport Corporation had already implemented this idea , they even used to publish daily winners in the newspaper.

I'm surprised that no one is baffled by this! The idea as such is great... But the fact that we have to come up with an "innovative idea" to make people buy train tickets! If only Indians were more honest to themselves, we won't even need this idea!!
