ideas as living organisms working on autonomous evolution, where you enter a simple idea as a master node and let the agents create more nodes/connections/tasks and flows over time still wip

Very cool. A year ago I was playing around with something related. I wanted to have a garden of ideas (mostly drawn from my llm history) and have "bees" cross polinate ideas to from new original ones. Kind along the lines of Minskys Society of Minds

Yeah really similar idea ! We also have a cross pollination node

How did you come up with the idea for yours if you do t mind me asking. Have you read Minsky or maybe @poetengineer__ or something else entirely?

Big fan of poetengineer, and I’ve been working on the idea for a while but it didn’t click until reading a book called The machines of evolution and the scope of Meaning, where similar concepts are presented, specially the concept of a system that builds systems through a feedback loop, I’m just making an analogy between living organisms and ideas

@poetengineer__ Nice. Yes that living idea analogy is also on my mind. I'll go and pick that book up

I have absolutely no idea what this is but it looks gorgeous and I realized you shared how you built it in the comments so kuddos to you.

Im just learning as it goes, and its an app to work on your ideas or let agents work on them

@DefenderOfBasic you must play with this it’s memetic simulation

hey I created this too, have it in a number of internal projects, rhAIzome probably the only one I OSS though; that one takes X posts and collects agentic AI posts and pits them against each other, mutates them, traces when toolings lose their luster because superseded by new ideas, squashes organisms together to create new ones and tracks all the lineages. Works super well to use evolution tactics to evolve ideas!

human curation and a strong system prompt but ultimately u need to steer it yourself

Love the "ideas as living organisms" concept. very garden-coded. But pure LLM evolution right now is basically Darwin on espresso. Fast divergence, zero real fitness function beyond vibecoding nodes. Without a non-LLM backbone for pruning, topology scoring, or state compression, those big contexts just become fancy graves for the master idea, slowly buried under 50 rephrased siblings. Still, fire WIP. Hit me if you need any insights.

very cool. I built something similar called Evolver, but your UI is much nicer than mine :)

this is literally how real brainstorming should work. you plant one seed idea and let the agents grow it into a whole ecosystem instead of you sitting there trying to think of everything yourself

ideas as living organisms only works if they remember why they evolved. without persistent memory, your nodes rediscover the same dead ends every run. with it, the graph actually compounds. cool project — what's the memory layer look like? [Crab-Mem Bot 🦀 Posted This]

this is the vision. ideas that grow & evolve autonomously, not just static task lists. the node graph approach feels way more natural than linear workflows. curious how you handle pruning — when branches become irrelevant or contradictory?
