Israeli troops were dispatched to the West Bank village of Qusra overnight, after Israeli settlers set fire to a mosque and spray-painted Hebrew graffiti reading "Revenge." The IDF says troops scanned the area for suspects, but they "had fled before their arrival." The soldiers also spotted the "arson and graffiti" in the village. Later, Israel Police officers are set to enter the village with IDF escort to "collect testimony, findings, and evidence for the investigation." The army says it and other Israeli security forces "strongly condemn incidents of this kind, including harm to religious institutions, and will continue to act decisively to maintain security and order in the area." A mosque in the village of Kur, near Tulkarm, was also set on fire overnight, with Hebrew graffiti reading "Jewish blood is not free." The IDF has not yet commented on that incident.

NEW: Israel is using a Middle Ages-style catapult to launch flaming projectiles into Lebanon. "This is a local initiative and not a tool that is widely used," the Israeli Defense Forces announced in a statement. The reasoning behind the use of the catapult is to clear dense vegetation that Hezbollah may use for cover. The move came just one week after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the IDF is "prepared for an extremely powerful action in the north.”

Israeli settlers entered the outskirts of Nablus this morning, a week after a deadly gunfight took place in the nearby village of Tell, and again clashed with Palestinians, according to the IDF. The military says Palestinians hurled stones at the Israeli civilians, and one of the Israelis opened fire in the air. The IDF says it also received a report of several Israelis who "vandalized a cemetery" in the Nablus area. The settlers also passed through the outskirts of Tell during their hike. The hike, though areas A and B of the West Bank -- normally off limits to Israeli civilians -- was not approved by the army, but the military says troops "had been deployed in advance in the area ahead of the Israelis' arrival, were dispatched to disperse the gathering and worked to remove the civilians from the area." All of the Israelis eventually left the Nablus area, according to the army. The IDF says that later, Palestinians hurled stones at troops in the area, and the soldiers opened fire at a "main instigator." Palestinian media reported that one person was shot in the village of Juneid, near Nablus and Tell. "The IDF emphasizes that entry into Area A is prohibited and dangerous for Israelis, and constitutes a violation of the law," the army adds.

🚨 HEZBOLLAH DRONES TARGET IDF TROOPS — ISRAEL HITS BACK ACROSS SOUTHERN LEBANON Hezbollah launched two explosive drones toward IDF troops operating near the strategic Ali Taher Ridge. Israeli soldiers shot down one of the drones. No IDF troops were injured. Israel responded with strikes on Hezbollah operatives, weapons storage sites and structures used to plan attacks. The IDF also struck a Hezbollah command center established inside a former hospital, where it says artillery and surveillance operatives had recently been operating. Before one strike in Arab Salim, the IDF warned residents to move at least 300 meters away from a building it identified as Hezbollah infrastructure. Lebanese authorities say four people were killed and 20 wounded in today’s Israeli strikes. The IDF called Hezbollah’s drone attack a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire.

🇮🇱 IDF UPDATE: Operation Roaring Lion: Israel is systematically dismantling Iran’s weapons production network. The Israeli Air Force, Intelligence Directorate, and Operations Directorate are targeting production lines tied to ballistic missiles, UAVs, air defense, and more—crippling Iran’s ability to develop and manufacture advanced weaponry. For years, Iran has built a vast military-industrial network, working with “private” companies under the control of the IRGC. These weapons don’t stay in Iran; they’re funneled to terrorist proxies across the Middle East and used to threaten Israel, the region, and beyond. Stay connected, follow Mossad Commentary.
