They also use special bombs that dispenses a foam that turns as hard as a rock. Blocks the tunnel completely. Very impressive stuff.

You don’t need expensive concrete, a water/dirt slurry will do for 90% of void, capped with concrete. Your welcome.

At $150 a ton, this might work out cheaper than detonating, for narrower tunnels.
