Two years ago, I wouldn’t have been caught dead at a Trump rally. I was a liberal, I thought Trump was awful. Tonight was a beautiful moment to remember just how far I’ve come in 2 years. Yes, I’m frustrated with a lot, but I’m reminded just how INSANELY GOOD we have it. Do you remember what it used to be like? Do you remember how bad it was? I remember screaming on X for the Biden administration to help Western North Carolina for MONTHS. All I got was silence. I was mocked by Biden’s FEMA and they called me a liar for showing what was OUTSIDE MY OWN FRONT DOOR. Do you remember that? I do. Do you remember when they called illegal immigration unsolvable? I do. Before Trump got into office, I had no idea it was even a big problem, I had no idea our country was completely invaded by illegals until I got on X, and saw the truth. We are so quick to forget how dark it was before Trump came into office. I’m guilty of it just as much as anyone. But the beauty of the Trump rally, was that he reminded me of all the things he’s accomplished, and how much crap I’ve taken for granted, forgotten about, and then gotten upset about the problems he hasn’t solved yet. And I’m worried that a lot of people have or will be so caught up in the bad, that they forget the good. And there’s so much good On a personal note… I live in a very liberal city, and it was such a uniquely beautiful experience to be surrounded by people who didn’t hate me or want me dead. There’s so many good amazing people that love America and want her to succeed. That alone made the trip with it.

I am not mourning or grieving the passing of O.J. Simpson. I’m not going to celebrate it either. I remember how divisive his trial was. How some saw it as a win, & how devastating it was for others. I remember how problematic he was afterwards. 3 decades later & his passing is much less divisive. To speak highly of him would be frowned upon. I do think of those who have fond memories of him. The brief for ‘The Last Temptation Of Christ’ was to create something that had references to that time and that part of the world, but that had its own character and was to be timeless in a way.” - PG. This track ‘Zaar’ was written around a traditional Egyptian rhythm which is performed to fend off evil spirits. The video was directed by Stefan Roloff using images from his film ‘Lunch’.
