Chowder is probably one of the worst shows to try to upscale because almost every character and background has a static complex pattern on them that makes it super obvious the frame rate has been changed

I NOTICED THIS WAY BACK & IT’S NOT JUST CHOWDER THEY DID IT WITH! While rewatching Chowder recently before they took it down, I noticed that the episodes somehow DEGRADED too? Like the intro was cut way short & sometimes the episodes would freeze at certain points, consistently.

Maybe I made the right decision watching it on Hulu. Ironically, Flapjack is worse on Hulu due to being cropped to 4:3, but on Max (where it got removed), it was in widescreen like it was intended.
