Idk who needs to hear this but perfume isn’t wine…. It doesn’t “age” into something better once bottled. Letting it sit won’t magically make it better, if anything, it just risks oxidation. If your scent changes, it’s due 2 evaporation & ur nose playing tricks on you

This tends to happen with vanilla heavy perfumes, they turn amber or even purple because those notes oxidize when exposed to air or heat. This doesn’t mean the scent got richer or stronger, it’s just a chemical reaction. If it smells stronger, it’s likely due to top notes fading!

Finally, fragrances that don’t cost a fortune! Try our designer-inspired fragrances and get any 3 bottles for $99.

been waiting for someone to explain this because it just seemed so unrealistic to me 💀 like if it really smelled better after sitting for a while then why wouldn’t the company just sell that version?

Exactly!! If perfume genuinely “improved” with time, brands would bottle it that way from the start. Formulas are carefully balanced, what people call “maceration” is usually just oxidation or evaporation doing its thing. At the end of the day perfume is science

Off experience alone i cant agree w this

Ur right! Also I find it insane that ppl think you need to “macerate” fragrance in order to be able to use it, if I’m buying perfume it has to be ready to wear out of the box!!!

Thank you!!!

No idea what process it was but I HATED khamrah when I got it. 6 months later and the overwhelming nature has dissipated and now I can enjoy it.

just watching this vid like STOP STOP TAPPING YOU’RE DESTROYING THE TOP NOTES

I will say Vanilla 28 does actually change scent when it gets darker and you have it longer. Mine got a lot better with age since the scent got richer. Like it doesn’t work with everything but I 100% noticed it with V28 because I didn’t like it at first and love it now

It smells different bc the top notes fade
