IS THIS AUCKLAND OR MUMBAI? Right now in Manurewa, it’s shut down for hours for a Sikh religious parade. Roads closed. Locals disrupted. Businesses affected. Families stuck. And the most confronting part? Men openly carrying swords & daggers on public streets. Kiwis are left asking a fair question: Since when is it acceptable to parade bladed weapons on our streets? That is not normal in New Zealand. That is not the Kiwi way of life. And it should never be waved away as just “culture.” We do not parade weapons in public. We do not shut down suburbs for foreign religious displays. And we do not run different rules for different groups. If a Kiwi group marched through a South Auckland suburb with weapons on display, the response would be immediate. Police. Media outrage. Politicians lining up to condemn it. If you choose to live here, it’s Kiwis First. Our laws and public norms come first…not imported religious practices that clash with public safety. Multiculturalism is a failed experiment. We should nuke the filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act. If we don’t have the votes to nuke the filibuster, we should put the SAVE America Act on the floor and debate it until it passes, requiring filibustering senators to speak and making clear that if they stop speaking, we can “call the question” and pass it with a simple majority. If for some reason we can’t do that—and to be clear, there’s no legitimate reason why we can’t—then we should use budget reconciliation to pass it. But not passing the SAVE America Act is not an option. Neither is taking a lengthy recess without doing any of the above.

I watched the clip, and one answer hit me harder than anything else. They asked her about Charlie Kirk. She didn’t launch into talking points. She didn’t dodge. She just looked at the camera and said: “We are Charlie Kirk.” That’s it. Four words. She wasn’t talking about a man. She was talking about what he stood for. What a resounding condemnation by (368-7) of the unhinging of the democratic process in Pakistan by the US Congress. A positive push in the right direction, along the lines of our own constitution, for democracy, rule of law, civilian control over our armed forces (not vice versa), personal freedoms, etc. Resolution 901 states in essence that: "The people of Pakistan deserve the respect of their government, the rule of law, free and fair elections and civilian command and control of their armed forces ...... "Whereas the Constitution of Pakistan states that ‘‘the Federal Government shall have control and command of the Armed Forces’’, and the oath taken by members of the Armed Forces swears they will ‘‘uphold the Constitution’’ and ‘‘not engage in any political activities; "Whereas an essential safeguard of democracy is civilian command and control of apolitical military and security forces; ........ "Urges the Government of Pakistan to uphold democratic and electoral institutions, human rights, and the rule of law, and respect the fundamental guarantees of due process, freedom of press, freedom of assembly, and freedom of speech of the people of Pakistan; "Condemns attempts to suppress the people of Pakistan’s participation in their democracy through harassment, intimidation, violence, arbitrary detention, restrictions on access to the internet and telecommunications, or any violation of their human, civil, or political rights; "Condemns any effort to subvert the political, electoral, or judicial processes of Pakistan; and "Urges the full and independent investigation of claims of interference or irregularities in Pakistan’s February 2024 election".

People on the left say that Trump and DeSantis are "authoritarians" or "fascists." People on the right say that Joe Biden and AOC are "communists" or "socialists." Is this warranted? Should we be using these terms to attack other American politicians or should we just get back to debating political policy? At the same time, there have been times in the past where world leaders were not called out soon enough for their dangerous governing styles. What are your thoughts?

We ask all those building camps along the river in the Maasai Mara to think twice about the consequences… this is the current situation in the Mara . Mother Nature is not happy with us. Mara Bush Camp , JW Marriott, Intrepid Mara and many other camps built along the river have been submerged. The planned construction of JW Marriott lodge in the boarder of Kenya and Tanzania, (Mara and Serengeti ) should also stop as it will have serious consequences on the migration. The moratorium should be for everyone. We should not have any sacred cow everyone is equal, it does not matter who is behind the deal.

What is the answer for this? I know some people genuinely need wheelchair assistance, and I understand that not every disability is visible. But let’s stop pretending nobody is taking advantage of it. On our last flight, there were at least a dozen wheelchairs lined up to board. I have been flying for years, and you used to see one or two. Now, some airport concourses look like wheelchair parking lots. Cruises and cruise lines are the same. Those chairs are for people who truly need help, not people who are too lazy to walk through the airport or stand in line. Abusing the service only makes it harder for the people who genuinely depend on it.
