Thor definitely had the physical durability to survive the snap, but mentally? He was completely shattered at that point. Hulk taking the hit was as much about soul as it was about strength. 🧠🔨

People forget one important detail about Endgame. Thor was powerful, but he was also drunk, broken, and nowhere near his peak. Letting him use the gauntlet would’ve been a massive gamble. Hulk stepped up because he was the best shot at surviving the snap and thankfully, he brought everyone back.

Thor was powerful enough to survive it, but not in the condition he was in. Hulk was the safer choice because he was better suited to handle the gamma radiation.

Even a healthy Thor might’ve lost an arm or worse. Banner was the perfect biological match.
