Instead of paying $20 per carbon credit, companies will now be forced to pay $110. On top of that taxpayers will be paying for a carbon capture scheme, which no one can explain how it will make the weather better. On top of that companies pay an industrial carbon tax. On top of that taxpayers will be paying a fuel surcharge tax. Danielle Smith delivered a carbon market for her voters. To my knowledge no one wanted her to do it. What did she get in return?

Carney says that Canada must have a carbon tax on heavy industry, otherwise it won't be able to trade with the UK, the EU, or Japan. He is lying. What the EU has proposed is a Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. If a country's carbon pricing is non-existent or lower than their carbon pricing, they will levy a carbon tariff on your products. So, they're happy to trade, but they will add a carbon tariff to March their own . Now, understand that only 5% of our current merchandise exports go to the EU. Carney wants to turn our economy upside down and make it uncompetitive with our largest trading partner, the United States, in order to satisfy a non-obligatory carbon taxation scheme from a very minor trading partner. Does that seem like a sound economic plan? Clearly his focus is not on our economy, but on carbon taxation and net zero. He is single minded and quite frankly dangerous to Canada's economic well-being.

Why are Canadians okay with a Prime Minister using his power to get rich and not acting in Canadians' best interest? Carney has been promoting “buy Canadian” for steel & aluminum because in two years he wants to put a Carbon Tariff (CBAM) on all steel, aluminum & other products they deem high carbon entering the Country. Europe has this money grabbing scam already in place. That means any steel products made in Canada are subjected to a carbon tariff if it’s imported into Europe & vice versa. Businesses in Europe are already feeling the pain of this scam tax. Whenever he speaks & says he wants to trade with countries who have “shared values” this is what he is talking about. This will increase the cost of everything in the name of “climate”

Instead of abolishing it — he’s pausing it for the election so he can trick you into believing it’s gone. Why?
