If elements ever shift unexpectedly by a few pixels during an animation and you can’t figure out why, try using the `will-change` CSS property. It promotes the element to its own GPU compositing layer. Use it sparingly though, since overusing it can hurt performance.

If you are using an if statement inside a for loop, did you know there's a better way of doing this is Swift? I'm talking about the where clause. Using the where clause in a for loop can provide several benefits over using an if statement inside a for loop: Readability: It explicitly states the condition that must be met for an element to be processed, making the purpose of the loop clearer to anyone reading the code. Efficiency: When using a where clause, the filtering of elements is done at the level of the sequence, which can be more efficient than filtering within the loop with an if statement. Brevity: Using a where clause often results in more concise code, as it eliminates the need for an if statement and associated braces. This can make the code more manageable and easier to maintain.

I just created my portfolio with Gemini But…. I can’t change the pictures to what I want. I’m doing some rebranding and I’m starting with my portfolio. I decided to use Gemini to build it, and it actually gave me something really cute like you’ll see in the video below. But I still can’t change the pictures to my own. I’ve tried prompting it. I’ve tried editing the source code myself 😫 But it’s not working. I need to figure this out by fire, by force, by YouTube, or by ChatGPT. Somebody should wish me luck. If you’ve used Gemini to build a website before and successfully changed the images, please come to my rescue.

I use it to reflect, generate ideas, plan my day, and more. It's also great at being a search-and-synthesis machine for my 2,000+ notes – like having a Perplexity for my brain. Instead, use an input element with wire:model on it, and add the following class to its parent: has-checked:bg-blue-500 Now the element reacts instantly and doesn’t wait for the server, unlike the first solution. This alone makes your app feel A LOT faster because it gives the user immediate feedback that something happened, even if the page updates 100ms later after the server responds. You can use this trick with various form elements, toggles, checkboxes, etc. Code below 👇
