If engineers gave accurate eng estimates:

This type of video officially stopped making any sense last month.

"what if it was ONE month?" sometimes i wish i was growing potatoes in the middle of nowhere or something.

This sketch sort of made sense 8 months ago. Now it's 1-2 weeks, and probably fewer bugs than if humans did it.

It's funny how I put in the prompt for the feature, and I see it appear in front of my eyes as if by magic. Then I test it, and there's some issues to fix, but nothing major. Then boom, it's two days later, and I'm still ironing out kinks and no faster than if I did it by hand.

This aged like milk

The last option is just what most companies choose to do

Absolutely on point! The thing with this that they don't understand why you we say the "engineer" is saying here, no matter how you explain, they thinking in the sale pitch of the AI companies. AI is just a tool to help the software engineers, that is it.

On point

With Spanish captions:

Estimates inputs are like butterfly wings flapping on chaos theory.

AI as an experienced SWE: "It will take at least 6 months"

I built this in 3 days using AI. A brute force approach runs in 1 frame per second. This runs as high as 200 FPS (on a 240Hz laptop screen).

AI is actually good at porting code, especially if you have unit testing. 🤡

An Android app in four months? ...They sure are moving fast.

@TranslateMom spanish

This is the number one cause of project overruns It takes as long as it takes, not how long someone else WANTS it to take

The vast majority of web and iOS apps can be rebuilt for Android with AI in well under a month.

Sorry but this video suggest that AI does not speed up building things in comparison to writing code by hand, you can have an opinion on AI be it hype or sceptic. But AI speeds things up and this is a fact.

one month it is
