We made Dad fill up at Esso, even though the other station had cheaper gas. I still have a few of those.

It said cards free with a minimum $3 purchase. I think that’s what gas stations charge you to use the air hose now. I remember collecting these as a kid. A friend’s dad owned an Esso station, so we had a never-ending supply.

I remember this like it was yesterday. One of the Esso dealers near our school let us buy the stickers without getting gas. Might have paid a dime.
