Why can't Satan be forgiven? Frank: He doesn't want to be. Neither did we, Frank. While we were yet SINNERS, Christ died for us. We were not seeking Him. This man-centered idea that God sent us a Savior because we were LOOKING for one or WANTED one is blasphemous. We were NOT seeking or looking for a Savior, and when God sent one, we crucified Him. I swear I did not edit this clip. It's WILD once you understand what's going on. Joe: "[According to Mormons, Catholics believe] everyone who's ever created by God did not consent to be created so therefore God is morally responsible for the evils in the world. Whereas in Mormonism God is not responsible [because he didn't create us out of nothing] and he's just kind of powerless to-" Matt: "We've got to give their God a different name... like Jeff or something" Why it's wild: So Joe has just hit on the best part of Mormon theology. If God created us from nothing then HE is responsible for what happens to us. Joe mentions we didn't consent to be put in this world. What he leaves out is that in his theology God knew what would happen to us when he created us, there is nothing outside of his control. So the inescapable conclusion is God chooses if you go to hell. Sure you might have free agency, but God gave you all of your internal desires and external influences, he controls every factor. God decides to create people without their consent knowing that they will end up in hell. That's a massive problem. So how does Matt respond to this? He doesn't even recognize the problem and instead starts musing about the different name he should call the "Mormon god". If Matt had a Latter-day Saint on this conversation could have been way more interesting for both sides.

God created marriage for 1 man and 1 woman, and I'm NOT ASHAMED to say it! I see so many Christian's ashamed of God's Word; Ashamed to admit that homosexuality is a sin. Why are you ashamed? You do realise that God's Word sets people free right? You do realise God gave us instructions for living FOR OUR GOOD right!? Stop acting like God is a tyrant who enjoys seeing people suffer. He gave us His Word out of His LOVE for us. God created marriage therefore only God gets to define the terms. God created marriage therefore He knows how it best functions.
