Soldiers from the Southern Command of the Ghana Armed Forces demonstrated their readiness to intensify the fight against illegal mining (galamsey) in the Eastern Region. They were joined by officers from the Eastern Regional Police Command and received by the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey , as part of ongoing efforts to clamp down on galamsey activities in the region.
