The problem always is quoting scriptures out of context if only ever you sit down to study them. You extract scriptures out of context and weaponize it. Not even Jesus prayed against devil daily this way. Look at it. It is talking about the word mostly. Waging against your mind mostly. Same thing I am trying to do with your mind right now sir. God is many many things and being a rescuer and helper is part of who he is. He loves us to turn to him instead of depending on anything else. Psalms 143:9 says I go to you for protection, LORD; rescue me from my enemies.

I have maintained that many Christians are unknowingly living in bondage - the devil has a subtle but strong hold on their lives. I see Christians afraid of juju, superstitious hearsay like evil eyes, and are generally too paranoid for people who claim to believe in God. Tueh!

There is something deeper to consider here. Yes, some believers may pray from fear of Satan. But as we grow in Christ, our motivation should mature from fear to faith, from fear of what the enemy might do to trust in who God is. But can we really say this is why MOST believers pray? More importantly, is Satan actually the reason Christians worship God? Jesus didn’t say, “Satan is here, therefore seek God.” He said, “The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe.” There is also a difference between acknowledging the devil and fearing the devil. Scripture tells believers to be watchful, stand firm, and resist him. It doesn’t teach us to live terrified of him. Even in the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus begins: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done…” Only later: “Deliver us from evil.” The Father is the center, not the devil. So if you ask, “Would you still worship God if there were no devil?” Yes. God was worthy before Satan appeared. We don’t worship because there is an enemy. We worship because He is worthy. Satan is an enemy to recognize and resist, not someone we must fear in order to seek God.

Can two things be true? Absolutely. By all means, pray because you love God. But is it also true that prayer can be a war room? Yes. I’m saying this especially for those who may be feeling guilty for seeing prayer as a warfare tool. You can ask “If satan didn’t exist, would we still pray?” Well guess what, he exists It’s not that deep. You may have been delivered from an affliction while someone else is still struggling and you may be praying for that person. In that case, you’re praying because you love God, you love the person and you do not want the devil to have his way with them. You want God’s will to prevail. Prayer can be an expression of love, communion with God, intercession and spiritual warfare. These things aren’t mutually exclusive. And for those who feel Ebuka’s prayer song isn’t theologically sound or isn’t how prayer should be expressed, by all means please write more of your own songs and leave the young man alone 🤣🤣

You people don't even have a knowledge of your own. It is whatever your pastors says. Why do human even disobeyed God if it wasn't because of Satan. If there was no Satan, why do we need to "choose" God, won't be always be in his presence?

This is exactly what I explained to someone last week. I don’t sing that song at all. Worship is about exalting the Father; satan’s name shouldn’t even be mentioned in worship.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and every other thing shall be added. He gave his disciples work while leaving and that's the work we are to do for him too by preaching the gospel. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

People are more afraid of the spirit of God than satan. The spirit of God is that spirit that puts you in front of the dragons you are scared of or calls you out for adventure. It's forces people to painfully transform so they avoid it by running to the church.

That is not the point the author of that song is making. We pray because God asked us to pray. If you don't pray thats an attack. Every Christian deserves the good things of life including what she mentioned. Our salvation is all encompassing. This clip is wromg.
