“If I Fell” - The Beatles (1964)

Yet again, I think it is The Beatles' vocal harmonies that separate this song from those of other pop groups in that era. Their voices complement one another beautifully.

This was such a beautiful time: warm, friendly, inspiring and full of hope. I thought it would last forever. I first learned of the Beatles while listening to my transistor radio while delivering newspapers. Within weeks I and all the other lads were adopting the dry look and many began to learn guitar- this is when I started and years later have been fortunate to play in various groups: folk, jazz and pop. And it was entertaining at a local pub where I met Jim and Edna- Liverpool and Durham Twenty years ago we toured Britain and my friend Jim , who was from Liverpool and knew Paul’s father, arranged the itinerary. We visited the Cavern and I stood in front of the stage, mesmerized in deep imagination.

isn’t this detuned because they shot the film at 25 frames per second or something like that? Where as most films are shot at 24 frames per second, so each second of film shot lasts 1+1/24th seconds when projected.

A big favorite and not so well known. John and Paul technically not "harmonizing." They're each singing a different melody. Two songs in one!
