People have the free will (though some may not desire it) to truly want health and to live in a healthy society with a sound body. The power of that will far surpasses any superficial "positive thinking." Dismissing a situation with passive words like, "Perhaps this current illness is some kind of destiny (or connection)," is nothing more than "positive thinking" or a convenient resignation that suits the system. True free will is the expression of an exploratory drive—a state of mind where one actively looks into "anything" and wants to try it, searching among the information flooding this world for potential ways to modulate, remit, and treat one's illness. We have the right and freedom to fulfill our will to find a "clue to improvement" even in what seems like the worst of situations, and to reclaim our dignity and health with our own hands.
