@kendoherty1997 Take the WC away from The Crucible and it just becomes another event. The venue gives it the feeling of the WC as much as anything. Golf would never take The Masters away from Augusta National.

@kendoherty1997 Respectfully disagree. The future of the game comes first, not the childhood memories of one particular generation of fans. We need a venue with facilities fit for a major 21st century sporting event. Snooker may well slide into irrelevance if sold as a mere nostalgia cult.
