Cheetah attacks on humans are almost non-existent where those that have happened are when cornered or protecting their cubs and almost exclusively when in captivity. Cheetah have been known to live peacefully around humans for a long time and like seen here, pretty docile. While most fully wild cheetahs are afraid of humans and will run away, they can learn to be more friendly.

I wish we could domesticate cheetahs. Sadly, I think it would be akin to adopting a huskie into an apartment. They need to run. 🥺
