If only iPhone Mirroring allowed using both screens simultaneously instead of soft locking to mirror only...

Both screens are displayed from the same SpringBoard process, but the "mirrored" screen is hosted by ScreenContinuityShell. It's technically like how CarPlay works. Both Home Screens can coexist, and it is possible to have 2 apps running at the same time, and whenever I switch to an app displayed by the other screen, it handles that just fine.

Yes, iPhone Mirroring is only supposed to mirror, but with just a simple hook and you can have 2 separate screens. While no JB exists, it might be possible to tweak this in SpringBoard using RemoteCall. (note this is a PoC and doesn't bypass stuff like camera being blocked while mirroring)
