Couldn't agree more. The American church has ceded too much of the welfare to the State and it has neutered our efforts in caring for the widows and orphans.

Oh, Paul would be sending us at least a dozen letters, in rapid succession. He would definitely have words for us. LOL You make a great point, though. As a group, Christians in the West have become too horribly complacent, and we've forgotten, in our comfort, how to stand up.

I had this exact same talk with someone. He mentioned “tax exempt status” on why they don’t decline gay marriage. I told him “Christians are being killed in other countries for simply handing the Bible to people and you’re worried about paying taxes?” He had nothing to say.

Why's everyone laughing at the end? This seems pretty serious.

More churches preach "the church" more than they do Jesus. That's the main reason I don't go. My relationship with God has gotten much stronger since I left.

You're speaking about cotton candy churches. They look good, they're taste good, but they're not filling That's because the driving force is numbers and money as opposed to the gospel Keep up the great work Patriot, as I know that you will, I pray thee well

I’ve always wondered about this. How weak are we in the American Church that one of our biggest concerns is being tax exempt?!? I give to the work of the Lord because I love Jesus … not for a tax deduction. Which church are we in Revelation? #WakeUpChurch

The 501(c)3 status of churches is a problem in and of itself and causes more and bigger problems downstream.

I've heard the same thing before, when Obama was running... sad state or affairs. I fear for our spiritual lethargy.

Wanna sit on our small Matthew 25 board? Low effort but big feels. We need help.
