If S/V perform like this on the switch 2 it might actually be a decent game you know

The games are already great. Better performance would be an upgrade but the performance issues don’t stop Scarlet and Violet from being great games

People doesn't get it's not about the games being HD or having grass physics It's about not having N64 textures

Maybe. But nothing can save the underlying design flaws. I vastly prefer Area Zero's more story driven linear design. Wished the entire game was like that.

I really hope so, this game's main issue was the extreme poor optimisation for the switch hardware, if the switch 2 patch fixes that then it's going to be a totally new experience and I can't wait to see how area zero looks like

Those graphics are far from decent. Damn. "AAA" game from one of the biggest franchises of all time looks absolutely horrible. Imagine this being ultra settings. Retarded beyond belief. Wouldn't want to look at ultra settings from crisis 3 from over a decade ago.

i think my switch or copy is just built different cuz it ran like this for like 90% of the game and i didnt encounter a single glitch on my first run

i beat the story and never played it again it’s the first game i never finished dex and stuff if it runs smooth in switch 2 i’ll actually play it idgaf about the graphics but it was so jittery it was miserable

Yeah I'm really excited at the prospect of the Switch 2 update, I think if it fixes the biggest issue with the game: performance that alone will make this the best Pokemon game in the series imo, because the technical issues are the ONE thing holding this game back.

Gameplay is still extremely bland, the story is mediocre, and the open world is one of the worst in modern gaming, performance only made its problems way worse

Besides render issues, the game actually looks amazing like this. The game would had definitely got a lot less criticism if it ran good
