#Vikings special teams coordinator Matt Daniels says “anybody” could’ve done what Devin Duvernay did on the #Bears final kick return, and it was more so on Minnesota’s mistake than Chicago’s scheme: “I've been in the league now eight years, played football a long time in this league, and I've never felt the way I felt after that football game… A lot of respect for what the Chicago Bears, their unit, Devin Duvernay, all this and that, but I mean, it could have been anybody. If you got a son or anybody, all he did was just catch it and and run back to the field. Everybody just kind of got washed inside and it wasn't anything that they did more so than a lack of us maintaining our leverage and keeping the football inside shoulder is as a result of what ended up happening.”

Dan Orlovsky said the Bears least proven WR room in the NFL bc last year they had nobody top 70 in catches or top 50 in yards. He said the group is gonna have to improve or the Bears offense isn’t gonna be what people expect it to be. I think Dan Orlovsky does a great job, but this is where the spreadsheet misses the football. Yes, the Bears WR room is young. Using raw career catches and yards to call it a weakness is shortsighted. Rome Odunze missed 5 games and still finished with 44 catches 661 yards and six TDs. Luther Burden missed 2 games but if you watched the Bears you know his production was the tale of two seasons. He went from 24.4 YPG in his first 7 games to 60.1 over his final 8 which is a 1,022-yard pace. He also finished 3rd in the league in yards per route run. And if we’re evaluating weapons leaving out Colston Loveland is unfair. From Week 9 on, he had 47 catches 597 yards and 6 TDs. Those 597 yards ranked 2nd among all TEs. He then added 193 yards in 2 playoff games. They might be inexperienced but they’re not lacking talent. I think the pass-catching group as a whole is a strength of this roster. #DaBears #Bears

Imagine being known as the Governor and Mayor who lost the Bears. 😳 The Bears need to be in Chicago and that field that Sweetness, Sayers, Ditka and Butkus blessed, should be protected by the historical society. The Bears made a deal with the city. The Bears paid their portion, Chicago did not. This is a Chicago screw up. 💯 If they do indeed move to Indiana, welcome to Indiana!
